Dreams of Freedom. Romanticism in Russia and Germany

The exhibition project is a part of the Year of Germany in Russia. An extensive preparation work from both of the Dresden State Art Collections institution and the Tretyakov gallery has taken about two years.
More than 300 pieces comprising the masterpieces of Alexei Venetsianov, Caspar David Friedrich, Karl Bryullov are presented to the audience in the setting of sophisticated architectural solution by Daniel Libeskind.
